ARTEMIS-ITEA Co-summit 2012 in Paris, 30 – 31 October 2012
The ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking is very pleased to invite you to the ARTEMIS-ITEA Co-summit 2012, on 30 & 31 October 2012 in Paris, France. This important European Research, Development and Innovation conference and exhibition – in the field of ICT – will be held at the CNIT congress centre at la Défense.
The event is hosted by the ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking and ITEA 2. Both organisations are active in helping Europe to reinforce European leadership in the field of Embedded Systems & Software-intensive Systems and Services. Together, ARTEMIS and ITEA address Europe’s big societal challenges such as affordable healthcare and wellbeing, green and safe transportation, energy-smart buildings and communities of the future. To demonstrate the vision and complementarity of ARTEMIS and ITEA for the innovative power of European embedded systems and software industries, the joint theme for the Co-summit 2012 is: ‘Sharing a vision for ICT innovation’.
To showcase the project results and future opportunities, the focal point of the Co-summit 2012 is the project exhibition. The ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking will have on show its 44 active projects from the first four Calls, from 2008 to 2011. Together with the ITEA 2 projects, the exhibition will have more than 90 innovative R&D projects on both days. At the heart of the exhibition floor is a joint area around the special theme of design for High Reliability.
The first day of the Co-summit, Tuesday 30 October, hosts high-level keynote speeches and parallel sessions related to the Co-summit theme. For members of ARTEMIS Industry Association it is important to note that the General Assembly will also take place on this first Co-summit day. The successes of both ARTEMIS and ITEA will be celebrated at the Co-summit Grand Dinner the same evening. Seats are limited, so registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The second day, Wednesday 31 October, offers an interesting mix of highlights of this Co-summit with the ARTEMIS Community session, a joint panel session and diverse guided tours on the exhibition floor.
Participation
Members of ARTEMIS Industry Association, current ITEA 2 Partners & Bodies and Public Authorities are entitled to free admission. For those who are not a member of those organisations/communities, the participation fee is 450 Euro (VAT included). For participation of the Co-summit Grand Dinner, a contribution of 50 Euro is requested (representatives of the Public Authorities and other guests of honour excluded).
