This event, under the French European Union Presidency, will focus on: "European regions and SMEs for implementing manufacturing strategic priorities".

Manufuture 2008 Brokerage Event, 10th December, Saint Etienne, France.

Following the two days conference a brokerage event will be held within the Conference Centre.
This event will be opened to all attendees of the Manufuture Conference as well as to the public. This event will be the opportunity to meet potential partners and draw up consortia for European projects. Direct contacts give the possibility to evaluate knowledge and skills for project draw up. An appointment diary will be organized among partners before this event.

MINAM established industrial management board and starts new services

Following the establishment of their Industrial Management Board, the European Technology Platform for Micro- and Nanomanufacturing (MINAM) is happy to announce its official launch event to be held in January 2008. Chair Prof. Paolo Matteazzi of M.B.N Nanomaterialia, the board members Mr Manfred Diehl of Umicore, Dr Jalba of Microelectronica and Mrs Andrea Reinhardt of microTEC look forward to a very successful meeting. In October 2007, MINAM will launch a new interactive website, offering easy to use tools for technology brokerage and latest technology roadmaps www.minamwebportal.eu.SME, industry, research and education institutions are invited to check out new technologies, find partners and get assistance to prepare their proposals for the coming EC FP7 NMT (Nanoscience, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies) 2nd call, which will be published in November 2007. Manufacturing in FP7 Conference, 17th -18th January, Cardiff.

The conference aims to provide indepth information about the manufacturing topics addressed in both Theme 3 (Information and Communication Technologies - ICT) and Theme 4 (Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies - NMP) of the European Union's 7th Framework Programme. The 4th annual MANUFUTURE conference on the Future of Manufacturing in Europe will be held at Tampere Hall, Tampere, Finland, on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October 2006.

The conference will gather major stakeholders from industry, universities, research institutions and government to discuss and exchange ideas of practical technological, organizational and industrial issues related to implementation of the Manufuture Technology Platform as part of the FP7. Manufuture Roadmapping Conference 2006, 4th and 5th July Stuttgart, Germany.

 

The Manufuture Roadmapping Conference 2006, organised by the Fraunhofer Production Alliance, will discuss the basics for the Manufuture Implementation Plan: the “Leadership” Consortium will present first results of the ongoing Roadmapping Process; ETPs will present their specific priorities and the relations to Manufuture; Experts from different Manufacturing Sectors discuss topics and action fields.
