The Czech Technological Platform of Engineering (CTPE) is committed to fulfill the following objectives, which correspond with the ones of the ManuFuture platform:

  • elaborating a vision of the development of individual fields as well as the whole engineering sector,
  • creating a strategy for the development of modern engineering technologies,
  • cooperation in the development of policies and legislation to encourage innovation activities,
  • developing research strategies in the field of engineering,
  • initiating and conducting research in the field of engineering industry,
  • implementation of research and development results in industrial practice.

Fulfilling the above-mentioned technical objectives is going to raise competitiveness of the Czech economy because the commercial exploitation of new scientific and technical solutions will be initiated and implemented, which will also create effective conditions for cooperation between research, development, and industry in the field of engineering. Besides that, the CTPE engages in in the creation of policies and legal regulations related to education and R&D in the field of engineering as well as promotion and support of all levels of education in this area, especially with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and other entities.
